The crowd on MJH and Applause fit the song though. This is like if Million Reasons or The Edge of Glory had random cheering on their album versions.

IDK it just annoys me.

Right, but think about it like this:

It’s a song for a movie about someone playing on live stages and becoming a singer. We know she demanded everything be recorded live in the film, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Would a non live version maybe sound good too, sure! But the context of why the song exists and where it comes from makes sense.

We're getting a new song after 2 years & lots of meltdowns and u're like WHYYY DID THEY KEEP THE CROWD I HATE THIS I UNSTAN :triggered: calm down :staymad:

If you actually read what I said, you will see that I said I don't like the mixing and the pacing of the song sounds off IN MY OPINION. I'm calm thank u. Why are you so butt hurt by opinions different to your own?

Will radio stations play this song with all the noises?

I can't imagine it tbh

It would drop faster out of the rotation than G.U.Y. tbh :air:

Yeah I don't think it will do well on radio.

Personally, I really like her vocals in the trailer, but I’m not as much of a fan of this version released as a single. I thought her vocals sounded more raw in the trailer.

Maybe it is the same, and I’m just going crazy :ladyhaha:

It's definitely different, so I'm also confused. I enjoy both versions, but if there are more polished ones like in the trailer and the ITA? snippets I don't see how they wouldn't be released.

Streaming it regardless.

Inb4 what we hear on the soundtrack is what we hear in the movie. The trailer version is just a special mix.

I think it’s really just like Les Mis or many more live singing movies. They had the vocals and basic instruments recorded live and added extra tracks in the studio. So you don’t have a live version and studio version. This is what we are getting.

Yes. It's only what we hear in the movie. There is the entire song in the movie just like that.

Idk why they didn't edit the crowd out tbh. I get it has to feel like "live recorded" but it just feels off if you don't listen to it while watching the movie. I mean it's like if you did a youtube rip from the video with noises put there just so that people don't rip the video if you know what I mean (Adele's Hello says hi)

I don't think the song sound "unfinished" or anything, because I had the opportunity to watch the movie so it all connects for me, it just feels so right.

But the crowd noise... gurl what is you doing

I think the movie audio is intended for a multi channel system yet what we get right now is just stereo so the cheering sounded strange. If they release the Blu-ray later I’m sure it will sound great in a multichannel home theatre setup.
