Star

I love Shallow so much :flutter: Bradley‘s voice sounds really good and when Gaga starts singing I always get goosebumps. And that build up, even though we have had it since summer in the trailer, always makes me so emotional :applause:

She sounds good, but this song feels incomplete. Mark & Gaga have definetely done better work on Joanne than Shallow. Definetely overhyped.

Not really a strong song. I'm sure there will be more quality songs on ASIB like "Is That Alright?"

I'm thinking I don't appreciate it as much because I listened to the leak for weeks

just to let you know guys, i think im the only real little monster among my friends and i always tell them about lady gaga and a star is born. but i always expect that they don't always have to get excited with any gaga projects. this morning, i shared the spotify of Shallow... and behold, my roommate can't get over it. she's been playing it endlessly and almost memorized the song by now. take note she's sometimes not really interested to anything that's happening with lady gaga.

im just.. happy!

The GP is going to eat this **** up. The monsters are the ones that are hard to please.

I noticed all the flaws when I first listened to the leak weeks ago but now I love this song. Just watch the MV with the song and you will get wha t I mean.

Wow I'm impressed with Bradley's vocals. It's a nice track. I wasn't really into seeing this film, but I definitely will get the soundtrack.

I like it, but i feel as if something was missing. Another verse, another chorus...it ends way too fast, right when the song finally explodes, it concludes. It's frustrating, because the potential is right there, it sounds anthemic, epic, very TEOG/You and I. Think what would happen if You and I ended right before the electric guitar solo, or TEOG before the sax solo..yeah, they'd be good, but something would be missing.

The same is happening with Shallow. Idk if it has to do with the mixing, or if we will get another version with the album...but it's a disappointment for me.

Agreed.

Ends way too soon after that climax.

Too bad there's not a bridge or something after that part followed by a final chorus.

I’m so grateful for this song, maybe it’s my state of mind at the moment but it definitely speaks to me and I think it’s gonna be the same with so many other people

To be honest before it came out I expected a song that is more pop or has similar elements to songs that are popular right now, so because of that I was surprised at first listen, I would say I didn’t really like it that much. But then again, that was just my expectation and that’s the reason of that reaction. Now I’m just very happy that it’s the way it is :kara:

Also looking forward to Is that alright and the other songs too.

By the way, Happy Friday guys, enjoy new music

I am honestly so in love with this song. I’m utterly gobsmacked. (I know I often say that about Gaga’s song, but...)

This is the song that would have best described me exactly this time last year, when I was in such a deep rut, when I was “off the deep end” and felt like “I’ll never meet the ground”.

So, thank you for this song, Gaga and Bradley.
