Why is this fanbase so negative? I think they wanted to go with the live vocals to make it more authentic . . . it's stunningly beautiful! Just be happy for once. Everytime she does anything you guys complain.

I personally don't mind if the vocals are live, I love the song and don't even mind the crowd like a lot of people here do. But its the fact that the crowd aren't real, so it's 'fake' live

So happy I saw the movie before I saw the music video for Shallow. Not to ruin the fun but the moment in the film is so beautiful I don't think I would've enjoyed it this much if I had seen the video. However after seeing the film it's a beautiful recap of the film.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

AND they have extra sound effects like that motorcycle zooming past, and that cinematic "boom" from the trailer when red-lighting-gaga turns her head in the closeup. Feels like it was mixed and tended to badly like an afterthought :messga:

You guys are still at it. Uggh.

Of course there is a polished studio version of this song. Dont you think they recorded it first on the studio to hear how it will sound? Obviously they have been uaing that studio version in earier campaign materials.

But, this is what we are getting. The soundtrack was sang live on the movie. So we are getting a soundtrack with a live vocals performance. Deal with it.

Did y'all complain when Les Miserable released their soundtrack with live vocals? :bye:

Okay. I was on here and read 27 pahes of yalls complaininh before watching the YT clip and I was READY to be underwhelemed bc apparentlu, crowd noises. But........... it's so damn minimal? Like...................... uhm what are some of yall on about????? Literally takes nothing from the song. I mean, the complaints.... don't make any damn sense.

My only thing is, it's like something's missing in the middle. I feel like I listened to a minute and a half song but it's actually three? And it's so weird bc despite that, I like it so much? It's so good? Like......... Literally I'm confusion.

Also I FULLY understand that context is key to this song. It's nit just a song-song, it's a song that would drive the plot somewhere. So Imma watch the movie then watch this again before my face melts. But it ain't even melting! The song's good!

Bad Kids

First like "tell me something girl" reminds me of "kiss me hard before you go" by Lana yaaas

And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.

The problem is that this is not fully live, it's a live and studio version mixed awfully

I hate that the last chorus sounds recorded in a potato

This is a fkc.ing good song and ya'll deal. It can differ from ur personal taste but it's still 100x times better than the trashy songs that are put out today in normal pop music.

Well, for me it's not the crowd who bather me, but the way how the song is build. It's clearly weird and it's like there is missing parts, it's ruin the song.

I give a big +1 for Bradley Cooper's vocals. It's clearly his song.

The structure of the song is amazing!

From a calm, slow verses to powerful choruses with full band :firega:

Can anyone explain to me why are they longing for a change in all the good times? :laughga:

It makes sense that they fear themselves in the bad times....but what about the good times?:ohwell:

The structure is supposed to build like that to reflect Ally, and notice how her vocals outshine Jackson’s by the final chorus while she is quieter than him in the first one.

My interpretation is colored by my experience as someone with depression. I'm afraid for myself when my depression becomes super strong and deep, as I get really bad thoughts of self-harm. In the 'good times' (when the symptoms aren't as bad), I only have the strength to wish for something to change so I can be happier. I think that's something like what the song is going for.

That makes sense.  Thank you very much ♡:applause:
