If they want us to listen to the "live" version they should also give us a choise of the studio one, cuz people will not be having it if they hear the cheering on the radio or spotify wtf

You can not hide if nobody pays attention to you :*

So disappointed it's live... I have no hype anymore for this soundtrack... I hate those crowd noises they ruin the song for me.

I feel like most of you forget that this is not gaga. She is playing a character in a movie signing a song that the character wrote. If i am not mistaken, this song is the first they sing together and she goes on stage during jacksons show. We are taking the song out of the context of the story and the place it has in the movie. I feel like when we hear it in the movie the sound and mixing issues some people talk about will make more sense

Gays... remember it's a soundtrack to a movie musical where they perform on stage. Gaga even said she wants the soundtrack to follow the film and feel like the film experience. Yeah its gunna be a bit more polished than the film but I dont know why everyones surprised with the cheering and the vocals and stuff

Sorry but I'm living for all the APPLAUSE from the audience.

That's what makes it good. Raw and unpolished. A studio version would've ruined the emotions in this.

This is why we can't have nice things. Stop complaining or GTFO tbh

Anyways, we've been known from day 1 that they're focusing on the movie more so than the music, everything we've seen so far points to that being true. The 30 second dialogue clips in the soundtrack, the lack of single distribution months before the movie release, the usage of Dolby sounds in the theaters it's showing in, and Bradley's repetition about how the movie 'sounds like a concert'.

In that context, the entire album being recorded live with the crowd sounds is really not surprising.

Bradley is aiming for a cinematic experience but if y'all want a straight up soundtrack, listen to La La Land.

So the cheering noise will be on the soundtrack?  And in all or most tracks?  Also, I preordered the album on iTunes but I haven’t received the song.
