Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - "Shallow"

Star

If you have not seen the movie, stop complaining! The movie does this song so much justice, it’s one of my favorites! I KID YOU NOT!

Once you’ve seen the movie, you’re going to be addicted to this song even more! For now, ENJOY this soundtrack version! It’s so good!

PS, the song was recorded live. Hence the audience noise. So, make sure you watch it at a Dolby powered theatre!

These songs are good enough to be heard for many years to come, people don’t want sound effects of crowds.  Yes, live albums exist and are popular but studio versions also exist of the live album.

This!

Anyway I was listening to the song on Spotify and I can hear the crowd less than on the YouTube's version.

Well the song has grown on me a lot! I love it more now.

REALITY

The only thing I'm disappointed in is the fact that people seem disappointed in this. I personally loved it! Sure, her vocals may not have been as harsh as the trailer, but she still sounds ****ing epic!

To address the cheers & the fact that it's the live version, I don't know if you guys have ever heard old-school rock songs, but this is pretty common. I actually love it! It's like she was paying homage to old-school rock songs by releasing the song live. In an age where everything is so digitally altered, I love that they did the live version!

And maybe what I said doesn't resonate with everyone, but it definitely resonated with me. My dad loves old-school rock, and a lot of his songs have that same "live audience" feel/ambiance, and I loved that. Sure, it wasn't polished or perfected, but that's the ****ing point!

If you are going into this movie thinking it's going to be a polished, sophisticated soundtrack, then you're just objectively wrong.

omg whoever edited the trailer should be hired to produce the music next time. I miss the atmospheric beats and styling so much!

Rabbit Heart

Two weeks ago I've got 15  audience recordings of ASIB sountrack and Heal me and Why Did You That had cheering and even conversations all over it, it'll be a mess if it's on the official sountrack. Cuz you can't just play a song expecting to bop and than suddenly people start talking over it and you only hear music in the back of a conversation.

A mess.

Still i love Shallow, tho I think it's kinda short. ARUTW is way better ballad. Can't wait for the soundtrack. I'll hope we'll get some decent studio versions of songs so I can enjoy them fully.

The problem is not having opinions, it's having unnecessary opinions. I'm not talking about the ones on this song in particular, which are fine. Still you can't deny monsters and stans in general seem to thnik they know better than her about music, her personality, promotion and now film making and acting. There's a reason she's the artist and we are the public. If she's not doing what you love go search it somewhere else. That for sure does not mean that you should LOVE everything she does but you should respect it.

Those do not exist.

The song is AMAZING. :messga: The vocals are spectacular, nothing to say. Obviously i don't like the fact that the studio version is actually the live version. :triggered: This song isn't as epic and powerful as it could really be. And also it feels short, incomplete... it's a pity just cause it's already an awesome song, it could have become THE song, a timeless classic. Btw these are just subtleties, i love it so much i still got chills.
