In my opinion, if something is shown in a promo for the next episode it shouldn't be considered spoilers

I considered it one because I didn’t get to see the episode last night. Not everyone can watch it when it airs. I know I can’t expect the show to stay a secret forever but for the sake of the people who can’t immediately watch it, I just thought the title should’ve been a little more considerate that’s all. No hard feelings :)

Changing the title as not everyone has seen it, particularly if the new series is not out in that country yet :)

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

The 'link' to Hotel had been theorized earlier by the AHS fanbase

https://comicbook.com/2018/09/19/american-horror-story-apocalypse-reversal-theory-hotel/

It suggests that the end of the world may be 'undone' by the end of Apocalypse and that the time line of Apocalypse, and going by what Ryan Murphy said last year, Hotel actually takes place AFTER the events of this season.

This has left me so shook :wtfga: I’ve been trying to theorise how the “plot hole” could work and this seems the best yet :wtfga:

He's prob going to gather Queenie or make sure she's dead since it's a flashback.

In response, some queens have the power of resurrection but others don't.  Some can resurrect themselves, others can't.  Misty resurrected herself from bone for instance.  I'm interested to see how all the queens become alive again / or if they are all actually dead and they are only around because it's halloween.

I know all the witches seem to be back, except nan, but I lowkey starting to think that maybe Misty won’t be back in the way we expect. To me, it kinda ruins events in Coven seeing all the witches return like their deaths mean nothing, but part of me think that because Misty’s soul is trapped in her hell, then there shouldn’t be a way for her to escape at all. Because of this, I seem to think that Michael could try to bargain with Cordelia or something by bringing Misty back from hell, seeing as he is the antichrist. In the season trailer, she looks worried or confused and we haven’t seen her in any other scenes thus far, but all the other witches seem to be together loads of times.

Just a random thought :green:

this season really does feel like a proper book-end to the AHS franchise tbh, like I have no clue what else they could possibly do after Apocalypse

Since it’s renewed till the 10th can do one more season in the past like Asylum and Freak Show and one about the afterlife

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

SPOILER:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Apocalypse continues to impress. We had other seasons in the past, with Freak Show coming to mind, where they started really really strong and by the second half it was a bit of a mess. Paulson's role as Wilhemina Venable, in my opinion, is her strongest yet. She delivered it with such confidence and she is a great addition to AHS so i wonder if she actually dies or not.

One thing that confuses me is when Langdon says he thought he got rid of them all but one has escaped, referring to Mallory. Yet we see the 3 Coven witches come and not only that, Mallory is obviously NOT the only one.

Spoiler

It could mean Mallory is the only witch still able to muster a certain power or powers, or it could mean Mallory is even stronger than a normal witch; I've seen theories that she's an angel or something, an equal to Michael.

Idk why but part of me thinks that a lot of the series is gonna take place on one night, where the witches use their powers to try to reverse or alter the present somehow, every time bringing us a different “now” scenario, which means that everyone in the Outpost could be alive numerous times if this happens. This could explain why Madison is at the MH, maybe they go back to the MH to Change past events? The theory that Madison and Myrtle are still dead but are ghosts because it’s halloween still seems plausible to me

also lowkey want Madison to be michaels gf

i have too many theories in my head

it sounds like a good idea in my head, but reading it back it seems god awful :huntyga: I hope it’s just my explaining that was awful lol

Yeah I thought abt that too but like it would still be kind of weird to suddenly go back to being an anthology series yknow

The thing is.... 7 means completeness in the bible. Season 8 being an all star type of season makes sense. Plus... it completes Dante Inferno's Stages of Hell. Season 9 can become a re-imagining of the concept of the show.. like a rebirth

I saw a discussion video on YouTube and he talks about how Mallory could be the opposite of antichrist. Not a witch but maybe an angel/savior of some sort. in short, Mallory could be an Archangel with the whole APPLE, ADAM and EVE, SNAKE, bible references.... and it Make sense since AHS loves evil vs. good.

It’s possible that the witches aren’t even alive. It is Halloween after all, the one night the dead can walk among the living.

Indeed it will be interesting to see what happens. I presume for the same reasons we can expect to see the Murder House characters in the next episode.

I'm kinda hoping that Vivian will be in a homage to Rosemary's Baby (which was already in Kathy Bate's flashback scene) or to Freddy Kruger's mother, Pamela, who in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5 she takes him back into her wound and into hell to rid the world of him :P Or something like that lol

If the Coven and Murder House characters are only for Halloween, i'm extra intrigued to see the path the second half of this season takes. Going by past twists to AHS seasons i won't be surprised if Langdon gets killed by episode 4. Again, kinda like they killed off Twisty the Clown in Freak Show when at first it seemed as if he was the main villain.

That would mean that the rest of the 7+ episodes take place on the same day as last week's.

Not really. They may only be in for 1-2 episodes and then change into something else. We don't even know if Wilhemina is really dead at this stage.
