Can’t believe a soundtrack buzz single, much less a ballad, has been #1 WW on iTunes for 6 days now.

You do realise people don’t buy music like they used to? Streaming is where it’s at. It’s good she has held #1 but iTunes really is irrelevant compared to Apple Music and Spotify.

Shallow is not even a single but it's already boosting her older tracks, BR got about the same increase. :vegas:

Ok but the fact that Gaga does this with a buzz single is impressive. Others needs to have big hits to sell a sh*t

Yes it's irrelevant... I mean not that irrelevant if it going to give here a top 40 hit

Indeed!

At least it is better than not having sale at all in addition to poor streaming!

Nope, the little complainers always have to complain about something even when we are pretty much winning on everything possible right now :triggered:

That’s what billboard is telling you. But I think it’s way more valuable that 70k people invested   Money on you than doing it for free on YouTube. It shows your music is worthy.

Not to mention all those streams that songs get only because they get added to playlists that are playing while poeple don't even pay attention in shops etc... streaming has nothing on actual sales but it benefits record companies more than artists so obviously that's what's big at the moment.

Let me remind people that pure sales will most likely get Shallow to top 40 or top 30 so it's not that useless even if it doesn't mean that much anymore on hot 100 I personally still find pure sales an important fact, it means that people are interested enough in your music to buy it.
