Sure, Shallow is phenomenal and very good song, but let's be honest.. no radio is going to touch it. Even MR, who had more ''commercial'' sound did poorly on radio. Shallow is a cute song, to push the ticket sale and soundtrack sales. I believe they are waiting till Friday to see which songs from the OST will chart higher on iTunes etc and maybe then they'll send something to the radio (aka a la DWUW / MR fiasco). But.. they should send a ballad now for the fall / winter season because they usually do great in these seasons and then push WDYDT in March for that cute spring hit. And there's the top 100 playlist which tracks the total streams from of a day from midnight to 11:59pm and then does a chart, so its a wrap-up of the previous day, but not live.
