I hope they don't send Shallow to radio. There's no way this "LiVE" version is gonna get more than 5 spins per day.

Queen of having 3 songs in the top 100 of iTunes at the same time with 2 different artists and in 2 completely different genres :vegas:

Really quick, could someone tell me what "TTH" means?

Todays top hits, The spotify list with most followers (21M). Any song in there will always get alot of streams because many just put the playlist on shuffle. The cure was steady in the top 50 global spotify chart while in TTH but fall outside top 100 as soon as it was removed.

you seem to forget this song is part of a major movie opening next week all around the world, why tf does spotify matter?

the priority is the movie's success, not the soundtrack and WB have been spamming ASIB promo everywhere. they're not selling an album here, they're not aiming for a hit song: they're aiming for a critically praised and award winning movie which they're doing very well at

don't expect the success and promo of a pop album when it's a totally different situation

No shade, but this soundtrack is a great opportunity for Gaga to get a successful era (it won't happen again imho), So if she/her label don't want to use it then it's a shame, BUT don't act like promoting this album properly is too much to ask.

Quick reminder that Bodyguard was WH's biggest era and that still didn't affect the movie's success

It seems like you're implying that the soundtrack being successful would hurt the movie's overall success and I don't think this makes sense?

Over.

A succesful era for Gaga with ASIB is being nominated to best actress and best original song, with the soundtrack selling well, and the movie making good box score. She is not in this movie to have another #1 on BB Hot 100.

wdym "sis"? where is BTW's app? its flying dress? it's plans for every song to have a video? BTW's volume 2? where is BTW's launch concert? its collaboration with art legends?

i'm not saying that, i'm saying the soundtrack success is secondary. the main goal and intention being the whole ASIB project is the success of the actual movie, gaga as an actress and bradley as a director: not the soundtrack getting hits. the soundtrack is just a form of promo for the movie that has potential but isn't and shouldn't be relied upon for the main source of success for the movie

maybe they'll push a more hit friendly song after the movie comes out, maybe they won't, maybe there will be an organic hit, who cares because WB is pushing hard for an oscar. i mean, we're even at a point where ASIB might even out-gross Venom

tl;dr: any success the soundtrack has is an added bonus. we need the movie to do well first and foremost
