I knew Mrs. Maisel would win, after that huge sweep earlier.

y'all better go stream it. i have depression and i found it incredibly funny.

NOW

The Handmaid's Tale won our poll, but will it win tonight? I still have a feeling we might be surprised but GoT is winning this one.

almost 50 people voted in my poll, but i spent most of the night talking to myself, so I'd like to thank the people who actually cared enough to comment here, y'all know who you are and I appreciate you very much. Yes, I am bitter. And no, i'm not bitter for LMs not giving a sh*t, but actually for my robbed queens Penelope Cruz, Elisabeth Moss and The Handmaid's Tale.

thank you and good night

And ... GoT won damn it ! THT deserved to win just for the first ten minutes of the season, gave me mad anxiety ! and The Crown too... Chile I was late to the party, had no idea there was a thread ... I love the EMMYS so much...

i wanted to point out that this year's EMMYs were one of the most unpredictable ones.

In the Drama category almost every category had a winner from a different show. Only The Crown, The Americans and GoT got 2 awards each. Which is so weird to me.

yet, at the Comedy category Mrs. Maisel won everything and Barry got like 2 awards.

i just counted my predictions and I guessed 6 out of 21 categories.

And most of those, I predicted based on buzz and what I hear and read from articles and general opinions and not actual people i wanted to win. :toofunny: Now, guys...if the Oscars follow this trend we shall forget about ASIB sweeping them all and be happy even with one win for Best Song.:ohno:

Even the noms were sooo unpredictable especially lead actress drama a lot worthy performances were left out... TV just so good! I think vote  splitting occured in a lot of cases (THT and Versace ladies) but really glad about most of the wins and YAS Maisel... Loved Moss but didn't want her to repeat over Foy who also gave us one of the greatest performances on TV these recent years, her never winning for it would be sad.

For ASIB, this Oscars season looks like it is going to be SICK, especially Best Actress it is going to be a fight to get in thankfully our girl is also eligible in another  category

Can Lena Headey (imo the most consistently good actor on Game of Thrones, buzz of Peter Dinklage :air: ) please win once!?!?

On the + side, Westworld is an underrated series and Thandie Newton is very deserving of the award, her performance (in both seasons, but esp. s2) moved me quite a bit.

Rip Atlanta, GoT doesnt deserve best Drama (it hasn't for several seasons, oops), YAS MS. MAISEL THOUGH

I love how barely anyone on here was watching the Emmys haha. I even forgot to log on to see if there was a thread!

Anyway, all my faves were robbed, Kate McKinnon stole the show, they played ASIB trailer at one point and I screamed, I was triggered seeing Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Ryan Murphy, Dave Chappelle (literally anyone who has worked with Gaga) on stage.

It's gonna be a long awards season ahead :vegas:
