Or do we have some lyric sheet that confirms this?
BabylonHooker 4,305
The structure of the song is so confusing. I don't know which is the chorus or the bridge You can find it on Soundcloud though GAGA IS MY LIFELINE

But the first trailer featuring the track is presumably the studio version which as we know as the ahhhaahaaaaa part

The ahhhhhaahahaah is the live version, and then it turns to the studio version for the chorus.

Yesss these lyrics are so good! I'm falling. In the good times I find myself longing for change. And in the bad times i fear myself I'm off the deal end, watch as I dive in. I'll never meet the ground. Crash through the surface, where they can't hurt us, were far from the shallow now.

S0436 10,215
In the trailer the “tell me something” part has piano and guitar accompaniment, but in the movie that part only has guitar. So I expect lots of added layers in the soundtrack. Remember she added orchestra and brass with Mark Nilan Jr in post production to one or more songs! Gagalvaro 2,498
I don't like the structure of this song. It seems a little bit unfinished and copy-pasted. But I love the energy of the last chorus www.twitter.com/AFerreroEscriva

NCgaga 4,321
SHe does this weird thing sometimes in certain songs where she overdoes vibrato, and over enunciates certain things. SHe also tends to be sloppy with vocal delivery, depending on the song, (example - shallow, what's going on, Dope, etc).- and this is completely purposeful. I think she molds her voice to fit the mood/meaning of the song. Her voice is completely agile and fluid in certain songs like "The sound of Music, Your Song, Million Reasons Live, , etc, and All her Jazz Stuff). The fact that she is able to do this, shows how musically trained she is, and how much control she has as a vocalist. With that being said, I absolutely hate the way she sings "shallow" in that scene on the sidewalk. It sounds like she is straining just to get a normal musical phrase out. I know that's purposeful, and it will all make sense when we actually see the movie. The only other vocalist today with that level of Control over their vocals is Kelly Clarkson. They can effortlessly switch genres. Other vocalists, that are excellent at Agility and technique(Beyonce) tend to lack in versatility and tone. "Shallow" sounds like it would be a song about shallow people so I'm just gonna never call it that This also happened to Applause. “The Applause” was the original name to the track.
