Kesha cancelled her show just 20min before the opening in Taiwan tonight

Omg I feel so horrible now. 

Kesha originally planned to sing at the National Taiwan University Stadium at 19:00 tonight. However, just less than an hour before the concert ,the organizer suddenly informed the reporters that the concert would be cancelled.

At 18:48 in the evening( just about 20 minutes before the show), the "Taiwan Kesha Fan Group" on Facebook announced the news and then every ticket holder finally realized the cancellation. It was reported that the reason of the cancellation was "her health condition." However, there were pictures showing that Kesha had arrived at Taiwan's airport yesterday and she even waved to the fans with smile.

Meanwhile, all her 4 shows in China had been cancelled, too.(I'm sure It had nothing to do with the government.)

I am in Taiwan now. This news not only shock me but made me a little upset. Those ticket holders probably arrived in Taipei days agoand have spent a huge amout of money on things like transportation or the accommodation  just to enjoy the concert tonight. The refund of the tickets actually means nothing to them since they may feel really bewildered and sad about what they got treated by their idol.(I don't think it's the organizer that made this decision cuz they would lose their money if the show is cancelled.) 

Actually, the sales of her "Rainbow" tour in both Taiwan and China are pretty bad. I mean, she has already changed the tour date once in April, and the site of the rescheduled one has less capacity than the original one. Even in doing this way, the sales still remains terrible. The attendance/capacity of tonight's show is about 900+/5000.Therefore, we all doubted the real reason of the cancellation was the poor ticket sales.

Anyway, I feel really bad for those fans. I think you should still go onto the stage even if there are just few people waiting for you. Otherwise, you must have announced the cancellation earlier.

I mean if the attendance/ticket sales really was that low they should've cancelled it weeks before the actual show, not the day of... what a MESS

Cancellation goes hand in hand with these things. People need to realize there are this kind of risk each time they book something, and it can be for any reasons, either flights for travel, or concert, or tables at restaurants, or even movie tickets. You can plan a pretty picnic but you can't predict the weather.

Hope Kesha is alright. And the event organiser would explain what happen and held responsible at least.

Kesha’s ticket sales have not been great lately in general. I doubt they canceled because of that, since a) they knew about that long ago, b) they would’ve already set up by that point which means they already paid all the cost, c) it’s cruel to do AND cause people to accuse you of things like this.
