I'm suprised that there's no a thread covering this story.

Basically what happend, fans were reportedly forcefully kicked/dragged out of Dua Lipa's show in Shanghai for standing at their seats and waving pride flags.

I'm literally so disturbed because I can't believe things like this are happening in 2018. Also I read somewhere that Dua was forced to wear gloves to cover her tattoos. I feel bad for Dua and her fans, like man this is some ****ed up ****.

Also some points that are circulating around Chinese social networks:

Man shanghai is a mess. :madge:

Look at how they’re being dragged in the last two videos. Especially the one before the last. She was pulled VIOLENTLY straight out of her chair.

What the ****!?!

Idk how she could even perform when they're dragging people from the front rows right in front of the stage.

Awful.

This is so humiliating :ohno: it's really insane to think some young people can't do things we do or enjoy things we can enjoy just because they're from a different country

Isn't Gaga banned from China

She's banned because she showed public appreciation for Dalai Lama I believe

Katy Perry is also banned because she supported Taiwan or some other country I'm not sure, she had to cancel her VSFS performance because of it

I don't even want them to go there when they're treating people like sh!t and not giving them ability to express themselves

I’m confused, we’re they dragged out because of the flag? Or cause they were standing on chairs?

I think it might be both.

In moments like this I'm so happy I was born in the Netherlands/Europe. We should never forget how privileged we are and we should never take this for granted. This is disgusting and traumatizing for both the fans and Dua. I really can't understand how things like this happen in the world... It's time to focus more on the problems in Asia too, because not only America has problems to deal with tbfh.
