The Bling 12,253
Articles 11 and 13 have been approved by the European Union today. Article 11 will make internet companies pay for the ability to have a hyperlink with the name of the article in it and Article 13 will make any content such as photos, fanfics, video edits, reaction videos and others copyrighted and unavalaible in the European Union, threatening independent creators. Even sites like Google could get censored. The vote was always received with thunderous applause and cheers by the EU members, and the Internet is not happy about it. Luckily, it's not over yet. There will be several behind-closed doors reunions between EU politics and EU member states and there will be a final vote in January 2019 that will decide the future of the Internet as we know it. Liberal censorship doesn't really exist at the moment
