edgy 6,918
Now that the positive reviews for ASIB has been coming in and the potential for an Oscar win is strong, Gaga is in the process of becoming a legend. Now, the media will always try to pit artists against each other and if there's ever a younger artist in the future that does something similar to what Gaga did earlier in her career, comparisons will definitely be made. If that happens though, do you think Gaga will be shady on Twitter or go on national television and call her reductive? We've seen how she's been shady to Katy before, but do you think she will do something like that to another younger artist?

RahrahWitch 6,985
I don't think for a second that Gaga would put down any upcoming artist let alone someone with the same creativity she has. Hey Girl.mp3
TheAlpha 3,830
No. Gaga must be better than that. You know this is just my opinion, right?
xeynuraf 191
No. Look Aretha Franklin did that with anyone who she thought was a competition even when she was praised by them so is not only Madonna. What I'm trying to say is that it has more to do with their personalities. Gaga doesn't strike me like that type of person but if the next newcomer starts dragging her career for no reason I can see Gaga defending herself publicly and that will spark stupid tweeter stan wars (again). Babel 41,495
She has already embraced the younger generation of artists, even the first gay Oscar to win a Sam Smith, so no I don’t think so.
Altair 2,000
No, I think Gaga sees herself as a mother or mentor now to younger artists considering the noticeable age difference. If anything she’ll pull a Mariah https://goo.gl/images/6s2S5L
xeynuraf 191
By the way Madonna has always been this way. She did this with Janet, Mariah, Paula and other celebrities.
Bambino 24,290
I thought the comparison stopped when Madonna recorded with Nicki
Mulholland 1,052
With very few exceptions over the years, Gaga has always gone *out of her way* to embody the "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" mantra. Even when she would have been well within her rights to say something "shady" or even just harshly honest, she typically doesn't. You can tell she sometimes forces herself to say nice things about other people even when she doesn't believe what she's saying. And that's one of the most glaring and consistent differences between her and Madonna. So no, she won't.
Ziggy 11,874
Nah, that’s just a personality thing. Madonna doing that is not unsurprising but it would be very left field for Gaga to do that unprovoked.
RAMROD 109,715
LOL nah, she is more to Cher type who embrace the young stars, look what she did already with One Direction and Ariana for examples. She didn't take them as competition at all. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
sipthistea 21,099
She's not like that. She may be known for her outrageous costumes or her out of the line comments. But not for being mean towards other artists. That's one of the reasons why I like her.
thehanyo 4,251
We have to promise ourselves we won't let her become like that. We hunties love a diva, we must resist our urges.
