Would it be ironic to release ASIB's 'bad songs' as singles? (spoilers?)

I heard that the pop/dance songs in ASIB (Heal Me, WDYDT etc.) are meant to be 'sell-out' tracks in the context of the film. But since they are trendy pop tunes which may resonate more with the GP, would it be ironic to release them as singles, since that may be seen as placing value on songs that are meant to be more  vapid and shallow ?

It reminds me of when Mariah released Loverboy as the lead single off her iconic flop Glitter , of which is kinda during the point of the film when Mariah's character begins to 'sell-out'. I think it sounds awful but it's still kinda a hit as compared to the rest of the soundtrack singles.

And I know some of y'all will be like 'But I thought they said they're not releasing singles!!1!' and yeah ok...but in today's world, what even is a single?? Releasing a physical vinyl with an A-side and B-side?

I'm just not sure if the GP or radio stations will like it's sound...

With Bradley on it, for sure they would like and play it 

Everytime an actor make a song or participe to a musical project it works

And none of this songs are really GP appealing, so idk about the charts but radios will play it with Bradley's name on it that's for sure

I was actually wondering about this and also... would they really make bad songs on purpose? I mean... they’re gonna be on the Soundtrack and the soundtrack’s gotta sell, so i think they’ll be really basic but not awful enough not to listen to them

They're not "bad" just meant to seem a little shallow (pun intended) and vacuous next to other more singer-songwriter-type songs. It's a little odd considering Gaga's position in the industry, but what are ya gonna do? lol

I really don't wanna these silly songs to be released as singles.

There are such masterpieces that need to see the daylight. 

I'm stanning mature and vocally-perfect songs this time.

That's what ASIB is about.

Not tracks about ass and hairy body.
