Nicki instigated Cardi and it was bad, especially considering that she knew Cardi is a temperamental woman, but still doesn't make Cardi's response acceptable. This is not how you handle it. If Cardi thought Nicki rants were that offensive, she could denounce her at the police or sue her. For once Nicki did the right thing to do and didn't involve into the fight. She had the option to either physically fight 2 months mother and possibly injure her or get into the fight and lose and then be called a loser. On top of that, security is present at this type of events to prevent this type of situation and I'm sure that even she wanted to fight Cardi, she hardly could.
