I felt that she was pretty consistent in her style that she was selling. Tbh I think there has just been a gradual drop in the quality of production... Honeymoon was good but slightly less rich in sound than her first few albums. Then LFL was definitely a big drop down, with a much more simplified sound for most of the songs. And this snippet sounds even more stripped down. Her lyrics have always been very hit or miss, and this has been consistent throughout her career. While I think maybe her "good" lyrics have been getting better, her "bad" lyrics have been getting even worse. So it's not as if we can say her songwriting is drastically improving.
