So my favorite one is number 3, I’ve watched that movie hundreds of times and it’s very well done. They don’t use too much computer effects and the magic feels more realistic, (not to talk about how is directed or the soundtrack)

What is your favorite one?

Probably the first one, when the series first made it onto the screen. I definitely prefer Chris Columbus to David Yates and Richard Harris to Michael Gambon.

Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite. I think it had the fun, lighter elements of the first Chris Columbus movies, and the darker more dramatic elements of the later David Yates films.

First two were decent, the third one was excellent (directed by Alfonso Cuaron, duh), and then the series went downhill and slightly improved only by the last movie :selena:

Yeah 3rd was truly the charm. It also helps it being probably the best book with the first one.

I also care for the 5 one and i think they catched well the different style in half blood prince.

oops i meant number 4, though it's been so many years lol. Number 5 is clearly not my tea, as most of what came after

For me, the worst one is the sixth one, they literally made up scenes (like burning ron’s house instead of doing the first hogwarts battle)

1-3 was still fine for me but after 4 it all went off the rails :excuseu:

7 part 1 was great but part 2 wraps up terribly with so many things different from the book it left a bad memory for me when I think of movie 7

Cause once you let it go you better know it's gone

I somewhat agree with this. :selena:
