Saying one type of music is better than another is just a way to prop up one's fave type of music over the other types they dont like as much.

Gaga is capable of making acoustic and electronic music. She just chooses to do the later.

It's true. Lyrically, acoustic music might be better most of the times, bus sonically, electronic music can be much more complex.

And the interviewer is definitely trying to be smarter than Gaga, so I'm glad she has a good response to her questions.

This is false information. Her metacritic score was 71. This means there was more positive ratings than negative.

When I ask Gaga if she was pleased with its reception, she says, with a somewhat forced blasé air, “Sure. I really couldn’t ask for anything more. The tour is sold out. We sold eight million records.†And then she says, “Everything is great,†which makes me think that there must have been some days when everything was not great.

Nowhere does she say electronic music is better than acoustic, or more superior or complex. She said that acoustic music is not better than electronic. And that those that are ignorant of music will look down on electronic music because they don't know the complexity of making it. I don't know how you guys got an Adele shade out of this. This is actually an answer towards the attacking interviewer.

So as you can see, my point is that the interviewer, whatever intentions he has, is trying to put Gaga in a negative light, and my second point is that Gaga is not shading acoustic music or Adele. She is shading those that are ignorant to look down on electronic music.

I am not insulting those fan bases. But those are the only fanbases that have repeatedly trolled here. The way the user is speaking, does not sound like an Adele fan. An Adele fan just buys her music, and is not obsessed with stanwars.

I get that GaGa wanted the BTWB to be more classic... but did she ever consider that having NO video screens means the people in the back of the stadiums won't even be able to distinguish her from the rest of the dancers?

She meant giant video screens like in the monster ball 1.0 background, and the intro to TMB 2.0....not the screens on the side that just show what a camera is seeing by the stage :)

A lot of people are saying that the interviewer was dissing Gaga, but IMO they were just asking honest questions. Many people did feel that BTW was disappointing - we've had this argument thousands of times online. And the Adele comparisons were a good piece of that argument. 21 made everyone look like amateurish, but because Gaga had a few missteps for the first time in her career during Adele's reign, she was made out to be some sort of flop. Plus, the note about electronic versus acoustic music is a VERY popular belief, not necessarily what the interviewer is stating that they believe.

I actaually like the fact this interviewer is challenging her. Too often they are far too humbled by the fact they are interviewing her to take a step wrong, I think it will make for a very interesting read.

Whether or not anybody here will admit it, Adele did change the face of the music scene, and whether or not we want to cover that with thinly veiled insults about her appearance or genre, it's something that inevitably has to be dealt with.
