That said, hopefully the next wave of MCU films shows better writing with women characters. It’s been progressing, though. Well when you start at Iron Man 1 with Pepper Potts everything’s progress No family’s safe when I sashay

IMO I think the DCEU should cancel itself and distance itself from the mess that was BvS, Man of Steel, Suicide Squad and Justice League and reboot in five years with a long-term plan like Marvel had. I appreciate the darker tone DC carries, but some of it comes across as corny. If you would've told people 10 years ago that a THIRD Thor movie (with the two preceding it being mixed reviews and bad reviews) would outgross Justice League... people would first ask who is Thor. Marvel is making these unknown heroes ICONIC and DC makes their ICONIC characters hated. To be honest I don't think Suicide Squad, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman deserved their mixed reviews. I enjoyed all three films very much and I actually brought my friends along with me and they all thought they were brilliant. The only film which I have seen the public dislike is Justice League. I do enjoy Marvel films but it was DC's darker tone that attracted me. DC is never meant to be light or cheerful, it's like Lady Gaga trying to be Katy Perry. No, stick to Born This Way and The Fame Monster, that's where you shine at. Justice League would have been much better if it stayed dark like Man of Steel and BvS were. I actually think it was Nolan's Batman trilogy which made me a DC fan, oh and also the Injustice Gods Among Us games.

We are now over saturated with these things and their sequels, Gaga will just be drown in that mediocre mass as another celebrity feature. Nothing to get excited for her there. Right? It all probably peaked with the Dark Knight trilogy. If Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale decided to make another one of those films then it would be great to see Gaga as a charecter in that, but other than I’m not fussed on the genre. Not the bore worms!
