I miss the head microphone

That’s it, I just wanted you to know that I hope she goes back to it for the vegas residency, since she hasn’t used it since one of the dive bars:messga:

The hand mic is better if you want to hear her voice. The main reason I usually don't seek out her old performances is because of the head mic. At some points in the performances, her breathing was all you could hear.

The difference between her vocals at the artRAVE compared to the Joanne World Tour is out of this world tbh, and I blame that on the head microphone..

I thought I would miss it during the JWT but it made her vocals so much better and clearer, and because she did a little less dancing and focused more on the vocals, it was probably the best vocals she has ever done on tour. I don't think she will go back to the head set mic, she has calmed down dancing obviously for her health and I think having better vocals is a great compromise.

I agree with you. I kind of like the effect it gave her voice. It’s like a staticky-nasalness. I particularly like how she sounded during Monster Ball 1.0. Nostalgia. :flutter:

She sounds good in both of them. I don't see that much of a problem with head mics as long as you're watching the performance with great speakers.

I actually thought she wouldn't use a head mic at all during the Joanne era but

and she sounded perfect in all of them.

i hate the head mic, hearing her heavy breathing after every song during the artrave was annoying

This is why I prefer a handheld microphone.

Her vocals, attitude, and body language is much better. Also with fibro it makes it less awkward for her to stop dancing.

A head microphone only works for songs with a full choreo like G.U.Y, Telephone, etc. But Enigma will be in a smaller venue so she’ll probably do both like at the Artrave.

These were livestream/televised so the audio quality was probably edited.

I was referring to Gaga's vocals. And it all boils down to how good the singer is rather than the work of the editing.
