During The Fame era she could handle whole interviews in French, improvise some of her songs in French (like Eh Eh or Hair on Taratata) but since that we haven't heard her do it recently. I'm not sure she can still do full out conversations in french anymore Language (especially a language you learn later in life) is like a muscle...if you do not exercise it regularly you will lose it. Bradley on the other hand did a full out interview in french not too long ago if i remember correctly and it was really good. He used a few english words here and there but I think it was good. I hope she proves me wrong. Yes I agree with you but I think her french pronunciation got better in 2016 (check out C'Cauet, 2016 during Joanne era if you didn't!) especially singing La Vie En Rose. And she still understands well(I mean...quite well) French. But yeah, I hope she speaks French more often. Elle est super mignonne quand elle parle en français!
