I remembered watching Pitch Perfect first before the soundtrack and it got me disappointed. You see how it all fits and it's so magical seeing Gaga perform it for the first time. It's just not the same listening first imo. You wanna be hit with the raw energy of the songs for the first time while watching the scenes! It'll add to the emotion and immersion.
