I applaud him for calling out homophobia despite not being a fan of Imagine Dragons,but f*ggot is not that terrible of a word to me personally. I think people can be called a lot worse things than that word,even though yes there is a lot of hate loaded in that word,but to me there's far more disgusting names to call people,i.e. the N-word,etc.

F*ggot can still be a harmful word tho. It's a very terrible word , like many people getting bullied because their gay and being called that word and other things can lead to suicide. The same thing with the n word.

I think he just had a documentary come out where he held an event for LGBTQ youth in Utah, I only saw a preview of it and from what I saw he seems so passionate. It’s so rare that a straight man with his type of platform does any activism that isn’t just for clout.

I think he meant it as in level of stardom. Eminem has gotten a lot of free passes on his homophobia/transphobia/racism/misogyny throughout his entire career & I think people in the industry are just sick of him doing it and getting excused because it’s his “persona”
