Sweet Olive 422
Honestly I think we should wait for what Ariana has to say before judging...

Suspiria 10,683
Sorry but calling this an assault is very wrong. Using such strong language for every little thing completely dilutes their meaning, and makes it harder for people to take it seriously when people say they were actually "assaulted". It's an awkward and inappropriate accident - who in their right mind would try and grope one of the most famous people in the world live on camera, right in front of a congregation of people with whom he is not familiar? Taylorrgh 679
Ok you guys are making very disrespectful accusations. I don't see any malicious intent to what the pastor was doing. I believe you all are making your own opinions about this based on your bias towards Religious figures and it's not cool. As a person who comes from a apostolic christian family and who has a Grandfather that is a pastor, i'm quite disturbed by the nasty comments. I honestly don't believe there was any malicious intent behind this incident. because if you had watched the funeral like me you would've noticed that the everyone greeted eachother like that not just the pastor. NewUsername 11,443
Ok, this is creepy, and even worse being at a funeral (don't get me wrong, assault is wrong in whatever situation, but you know what I mean)
ZephyrInTheSky 1,235
It could definitely be an accident, shes short and it was an awkward position. I think it can definitely come off that way though but lets not jump to conclusions. There can be 99 bottoms in the area but all it takes is 1 top to believe in you. Morphine Prince 106,289
Her nervous body language says it all tbh. Can’t believe she was assaulted on live TV.
Anderson123 38,605
Omg how can he keep his hand there for so long, it's the awkward ZONE. Every time I hug my female friends I either put my hand on their shoulder or back but never that zone because it's awkard AF.

On the other side of that... you calling non-consensual groping 'an awkward incident' undermines the meaning of sexual assault just as much. No one should ever be touched like this and refusing to define it as sexual assault makes people think this is okay. Minor sexual assault is still sexual assault. Sexual assault is defined as 'an act in which a person sexually touches another person without that person's consent'... which she was. An 'awkward and inappropriate accident' would be him grazing her boobs and then pulling his hands away, or gripping her sides and then pulling back. 30 full seconds of his hands groping the left side of her boobs is not an accident. headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ
StrawberryBlond 14,898
This is a really tricky one to judge. She's short and he's taller and when men try to embrace women like this, it can result in this mismatch of body parts. He might genuinely have been unable to tell that he was actually cupping her breast somewhat. Some people have a really firm grip when embracing and he maybe thought this bump was just the way her dress was structured. Remember that he was addressing a crowd while talking and his brain was maybe more focused on that than what he was doing physically. It's a shame that she looks so uncomfortable, though. The way she'd distanced himself from him and was so rigid was so telling and how she tried to laugh and pretend it was all over soon. Seeing as he's apologised so profusely, I'd like to think it was a genuine mistake and he didn't even realise. Don't witch hunt everyone. There's far more serious stuff that can actually be proven that we can accuse people of. But at the same time, I really hope it wasn't meant because when the accusations against Rolf Harris came out, an old clip of him talking to Vanessa Feltz emerged and he's blatantly feeling her up on live tv and yet no one noticed at the time. She said of the clip: "I didn't even know if it was happening myself, I shocked myself into believing it couldn't be, but that's what you call hiding in plain sight." I notice, by the way, that no one's bringing up the so-called racism he said by saying her name looked like something on the Taco Bell menu, which at least shows where the priorities lie. But let's make it clear, that is not racism. Outside America, certainly not, that's not how we look at that kinda thing.

People in high levels of the Church continuously doing this and getting away with it is a serious thing. If he does this in public, I'd hate to know what he does when he is alone 'counseling' and 'praying' for people. This is something that is proven, its on camera. He held and wanted to fell and did it multiple times. You can see she's uncomfortable. Can you ever say 'mismatch of body parts.' Jesus Christ. Also writing up a mini essay to make a case does not make what you saying more accurate or brighter. We going to boo
