djBuffoon 12,123 Posted August 29, 2018 Share Posted August 29, 2018 It's brilliant and has Jennifer Lawrence's best performance to date. I usually find her to be fully committed, but not specific enough in her choices. Here, the woman she is playing speaks and moves and operates completely differently to the J-Law we're familiar with, but she feels completely real, and her breakdown is riveting to watch. Unapologetically one of my favorite roles of Jennifer Lawrence, so it's a shame that she doesn't get the recognition for it because people are so blinded by not understanding what the film represents. I watched it with friends thinking it would be a horror movie but we ended up having the biggest mindf*ck in our lives, shooked - but aprecciated the meassage behind it. After watching i made a lot of research of the director and watched the BTS and was really happy that I saw this movie it's one of the best of all time...
