The worlds she creates are so beautifully done, and the film is looking to get even darker than the Crybaby album! People recently were talking about how Katy Perry stuck to the Witness era until the end despite the not so great reception, but I will never stop being amazed by how Melanie delivered a visual album complete with high quality videos and songs (and always-improving performances, not considering the exaustion at the end of the tour of course) in which all of them were perfectly tied up together and, most importantly, were done with low budget. She really puts the art and the craft in the forefront, and although I would love if she got the recognition she deserves, I believe being sucessful to her means being able to continue following her vision (and of course putting food on the table lol), and that I'm sure she will achieve! She's so motivated creatively. She's like Gaga was in the beginning where she pours all the money she earns from her album and tours back into her art. I like that she's grown in popularity quite a bit because it gives her the means to do more, but I'm also glad she isn't a huge pop star. We all know she's fragile already and I'm sure the fame would destroy her. I just want her to be well known and successful so she can keep creating for us!
