Why the discussion

 

It’s a celebration of Vogue as a vehicle of pop music culture through time, so of course they had to use an old photo to represent that.

 

The photo is amazing. It’s simple, yet it has that one element that stands out. It’s a great photo from Gaga that captures both the singer but also the fashion, the vulnerability and the extravaganza. Amazing.

No it's not it's from the Vouge September edition around when ARTPOP came out it was like huge cuz it was some kind of anniversary edition

That's great, I love the photo they chose (and that they chose her specifically for this book cover as well). I'll try to get this one, but I might have to wait on this one to pop up on Book Depository or Abebooks. The pre-order price on Amazon is $65 for the hardcover. :sweat: I definitely want it for my ~*pretty book*~ collection though.

The Vanity Fair pics are Annie Lebowitz, and have a big red hat, more makeup & is clothed:

The ones for Vogue are her in a bright pink hat, photographed by M&M, very little eye makeup, & is nude.
