Pop music is "commercial popular music, in particular accessible, tuneful music of a kind popular since the 1950s and sometimes contrasted with rock, soul, or other forms of popular music.". MR, PI, DIC and other joanne songs follow the exact same structure most pop songs follow. The fact that they have country or rock influences doesn't mean they're not pop. That's a narrow view of music you got there.

it's pop-country. Like I said, one does not necessarily excludes the other. Now if you were to compare MR to Indiana Woman Mississippi Man (a 100% country song) and you tell me MR isn't more poppy idk what to tell you tbh
