I can't pull the receipts myself because I (a) dont have the desire lol and (b) I read it multiple times from multiple different sources on here but im prettyyyyy sure it is? theres a lot of that style of pop in the film when her character reaches larger fame and she liked the cure enough to want to release it as a single since it didnt make the cut for the film. ive pretty much heard that explanation like multiple times including people who have actually seen the film already at screenings.
