If you're really interested, you stop and read it, and if not, even a huge sign with LADY GAGA IN a MEAT DRESS 8 YEARS LATER, does not help.

We love the logical Queen. :vegas:

Gosh, I can see 40-years-old people seeing it and thinking "OMG, is she wearing a tee-shirt??" :laughga: I can also see elder people being like "I love Million Reasons! Maybe Tony Bennett will be a special guest in the movie." :ladyhaha:

those are the minority tho, people who judge a book by its cover dont have many ideas themselves

Agreed but GP is dumb and doesn't recognize talent unless packaged properly :huntyga:

I've seen actual old people say "I never liked her until her album Joanne." Queen of intergenerational fans. Joanne the aunt is truly avenged.

From what I've seen people comment online on news articles (people who haven't seen trailer): "A Star Is Born? Isn't this like the 4th remake? Hollywood is out of ideas?"

I can’t believe many casual millennial cinema goers will know about the previous versions, especially as the last one was in 1976.  Everything is recycled or remade, whether it is fashion or sampling in music etc :huntyga:

Children: I love her only hit Poker Face!

Teenagers: She's pretty much over

Adults (-40): haven't heard of her since 2010!

Adults (40-60): I love all her hits! I miss her on the radio

Elder people: Applause for Lady Ga Ga! I love her since Cheek To Cheek, I've been a fan since A Million Reasons and now I listen to The Applause on repeat! I'm so happy that she's on top of the World :ladyhaha:

That picture is cute but it's boring. That's a bad choice for the official poster in my opinion. It's not horrible, I like it, but I wouldn't be interested in watching it. The trailer has some very colorful and spectacular scenes that could have been used as an inspiration, but they used a basic black and white image instead.

I don't get the point of it though

Why would a billboard make people want to watch the film, unless what's to expect is written (sex, or country music in this case)

Can someone explain me?

Alexa, explain advertising

Some people will only go see a film if they feel like going to the cinema and they'll just watch whatever film is on. But a billboard will make somebody interested and they might look in to what it is and go specifically to see that film.

I think it might be to lower people's expectations so that they can be surprised with how good it is.
