The news pics may be indicative to Joanne era

Hair represents attachment but also inheritance. Giving a lock hair to someone is considered a sign of love and devotion, especially before an impending separation - a lock of hair can be kept as a ''memory'' of somebody. It can be a way to reference Gaga's strong and generational-crossing connection with her aunt.

Again, it's a thin connection but so were the other ones. In none of the pictures is portrayed something instantly recognizable of the era, but rather vague hints for us to speculate.

The blonde hair was such a big symbol in earlier eras though, especially TF...Joanne was really her first era that DIDN'T have a big focus on her hair/wigs/etc.

I think the hair indicates Gaga's body hair. We all know Gaga doesn't fully shave down there (remember ARTPOP era pics?).

It means female empowerment = shave-free = Feminist album

Ok I think we might be thinking a little TOO MUCH on this lock of hair. :huntyga:

No.

I think its a reference to You&I, since she has been impacted by three men in her life: her daddy, Nebraska, and Jesus Christ. The three hair branches represent each of those man now all in her.

It is also coherent with Hair.mp3, since "she is her hair".

A lock missing is like..

What if she cuts her hair? Witness.mp3 :saladga:

Or she goes brunette for a whole era?
