as we know these songs sound like slight variations of their original, ie. Bad romance, judas, scheisse

then BOMT, OIDIA, Stronger

so what are you favorites from each trio of clone songs? vote once per trio.

For me it's judas and stronger:firega:

“Stronger” shows growth from “Baby One More Time,”

“My loneliness is killing me

My loneliness ain’t killing me no more

So it’s superior :sis:

Should have been the lead tbh it's better than OIDIA imo

How is Sheisse a clone to Bad Romance? Because it has pounding industrial-pop production? Like theres nothing about it in melody or structure that warrants a clone stamp.

Honestly general people are so odd when it comes to interpreting industrial/goth/post-punk/electroclash/etc music. like when music publications sometimes go off about interpol being a joy division rip-off meanwhile stanning acts like the black keys or arctic monkeys that are blatant classic rock and david bowie rip offs respectively. I mean....its like anything that goes in a bluntly dark direction is immediately niched and considered limited while there are other genres that can be as derivative as they please and no one bothers to compare because they personally like it and don't personally prefer the doom and gloom.

Well, “Oops...” was the best option. It was a perfect transition into the next album, and it was destined to be a hit. “Stronger” was the perfect way to mature her image before her third album
