Sierra Boggess was an amazing Ariel on Broadway and did indeed look like the cartoon character. I don't have an opinion on Zendaya or the casting decision.

TBH the other live action adaptations I watched (Beauty and the Beast, Malificent) were so forgettable and just messy. And this is coming from an Emma Watson and Jolie fan. I dunno, it didn't have the same weight and power the classics had. Can't disney think of something else?

ariana grande would be perfect as Ariel, both are skinny, both are pretty both can sing and both look like a 12 year old girl
