Now, it is time for the Suitcase Ceremony. Momentarily, I will make a poll with 4 items that are randomly assigned to one of the 4 suitcases. The poll will be active for approximately an hour, and whatever is inside the winning suitcase will be applied to Round 7. Let's see where uncertainty leads us...

The following items (listed in no particular order) are contained in the various suitcases:

~ The first 2 participants who send their rates in Round 7 AFTER the Round is formally announced will have triple the value placed on their scores

~ The Top 3 songs from Round 6 will have the following formula imposed on their Round 5 scores. (-.25(Score Round 3)-4)

~ There will be a double elimination in Round 7. Moreover, participants may vote for a returning song, which will rejoin the competition (as SAFE) in Round 7.

~ Round 7 will go on as normal (no changes to format)

Judas and Electric Chapel are playing it... very safe.
Hair is in trouble. 
Bloody Mary's run is like.. always above safe. Always. Edge of Glory I think just surpassed it in terms of pure points, both are doing very well.

I'm also interested to see how songs that appear to have peaked early in the competition (like BTW for ex.) will do in the long run. Will some of the songs that have been consistently safe outlast them? We shall see.

Also, it will be interesting to see if songs like TEOG and Bloody Mary can keep up the momentum... or if they'll end up like ARTPOP (song).

I think because Born This Way is a large, iconic single, it'll still continue to stick around, moreso than Hair, Judas, Electric Chapel, etc. It's only safe right now because of the amount of fan faves still in the running which I reckon are absorbing most of the fan votes, either positive or negative.

And to be fair to ARTPOP, if you score by finding the average amount of points per round (points accrued while in play / round in which it left), ARTPOP is definitely the winner of its season, with (using my scale) 3.625 points per round. This season's highest scorer so far by the same metric is actually Heavy Metal Lover, because while it was eliminated in Round 3, it had 7 points by then (5 points for a win, 2 points for a safe, 0 points for an elimination), giving it a score of 2.333, higher than Swine, Do What U Want, Gypsy, Mary Jane Holland, or GUY from last season.
