I agree scrutiny unfortunately is necessary and close screaning

Still tho I think it's the right thing to do to accept some of them

I've met 2 family refugees from Syria and they are so thankful to have been given the opportunity to leave that place and start a new life

My wife made some soup which we brought over to one of them :)

Makes it hard to accept legit refugees without closer scrutiny..

Because you found the one bad apple out of the many, many GREAT and legitimate refugees we have?

The "refugee ban" is a thinly veiled attempt to black ALL muslims from entering the country. Trump said so himself many, many times. If you give into this fear mongering you are feeding into that bigotry.

There has been many cases of this happening, especially in Germany and France. You have to be careful and stop thinking everyone is nice and the world is made of rainbows and cookies

I didn't say 'refugee ban'...

And if you aren't afraid of what the terrorist groups are planning, the you have you head in the sand.

Likewise, people need to also stop thinking that just because someone's from the Middle East, or just because someone's Muslim means that they're a terrorist. Many of the refugees coming here are trying to escape the situations they're in.

Of course, a lot of people risk their lives to escape war! But trying to ignore the fact that there are bad apples is just as bad. Almost like it's seen as being a 'racist', no it's the reality of this complex problem we're facing right now.  There are a lot of terrorists who use this to get in countries. We have to find a way to accept the ones who really are escaping chaos. This is reality

I agree that we have to learn how to filter and keep an eye out on the people we let into the country, but at the same time, let's not pretend there aren't domestic terrorists as well. Yes, it's extremely important and necessary to safely and securely check people, but what about the people born and raised here? Some of the biggest and most unfortunate shootings in recent times have been from people who were born and raised here, not immigrants.

There's bad apples in the native population

The fact that many refugees are fine and the odd few aren't isn't any different than our own population

I don't knowb about the situation in the US.

However, in France and Germany it's pretty bad.

You can thank liberals for constantly blocking travel bans, creating sanctuary cities, and trying to abolish ICE. Good job guys!:applause: This is what happens

Also, this isn't just one bad apple. This has been rampant the past couple months. Even if its few or most refugees aren't as bad as domestic citizens, just think these crimes could of have been prevented in the first place. Look at the democratic judge in New Mexico who is letting several individuals go who were training children to be terrorists. A child has died and the rest were abused. Thankfully one of the individuals is under Georgia law I think and will be punished appropriately

There are probably more terrorist US citizens than terrorist refugees trying to get in.

blaming an entire group of people based on one or even several criminals sounds like prejudice to me
