Gaga literally said that part of "the art of darkness" . It doesn't mean it was dark by nature maybe just thematically.  And point is she could of very well been working on both sounds at the same time. Artists as mentioned work on multiple songs, change them, scrap them, make new ones, keep them etcc until they get the sound they want.

but was that the album that was released? no, she also has her new tattoos in the photo's, y'all need to let that original idea you had in your heads for what lg5 was gonna be and be happy she did Joanne moved on and is doing something new

I explained the same thing in my posts as well. I explained that prior to an album release an artist dabbles and creates music non stop. Some of that music she created during that time was a bit darker or touched on themes of darkness as confirmed by Lady Gaga her damn self. There were mixes of music she was working on. Does not mean there was an "initial LG5" because there wasn't as I stated earlier as well but you keep ignoring. I said there were various phases to creating Joanne. That's it.
