Ziggy 11,960
Honestly, I think in Gaga's case it's having a therapist because no one close to you is going to really get it. Even Taylor probably didn't totally "get it". Christian might since he manages celebrities, but even then not on a personal level. When you reach a certain echelon of fame, it's hard to express your problems to others. Even to us, we're thinking, "oh man, well they're rich and I can't afford this." We all just have different problems. Theirs are a severe lack of privacy, lots of scrutiny and everything that comes with those things, ours are bills, 9-5, etc. If you're someone like Gaga or Michael or TSwift, your problems don't really seem like problems, but it must feel even worse to know how many people wouldn't consider your problems problems. At that point you're doubting your perspective, reaction, thoughts, and feelings. I mean, I'm not famous, but I'll get a little paranoid about people just wanting to be my friend to sleep with me (as it's happened a lot) or people eyeing me up on the street regardless of how I'm dressed on a given day. I can't even imagine how much worse it is for celebrities when it's not about whether people are watching you, but how many? and what are they thinking? what might they do to you? What might they do to your friends and loved ones (since now people know who they are as well)? That must be scary to consider so I get why Gaga has her Malibu property (and other ones). You can be in places *totally free*. So long story short, I have no clue how they deal with it, but I think that even if we can't relate to someone's problems that doesn't necessarily mean that they are not valid concerns. SLAG 7
I would actually love this! It comes with the territory. I think they just learn to accept that it’s something they’ll have to deal with everyday. And those screaming people are the ones that helped get them where they are today. I think it’s easy to say on the outside but imagine knowing there are people who want to legit kill you, stalk you, break into your place, know where you live, know where you eat, take pictures while you have a date with your partner, spread lies about you to make money, beg you to sign their stuff then follow you for days continuing to ask... and even more. Im sure it’s fun every now and again but it has to get tiring.
