Mr S 8,691
Spoiler The Fantasy Setlist For Lady Gaga's Vegas Residency 8/7/2018 by Connor Whittum FACEBOOK TWITTER EMAIL ME YOUTUBE From "LoveGame" to "The Cure," here's everything we want to hear when Gaga's 'Enigma' residency show debuts These days, having a Vegas residency is a rite of passage for pop's biggest divas, and today (Aug. 7), Lady Gaga finally shared the details of hers. After first announcing a Vegas engagement late last year, Gaga revealed that her residency at the Park Theater at the Park MGM resort will begin on Dec. 28 and continue through 2019 across 27 shows. The run will feature two distinctly different shows: The first, titled Lady Gaga Enigma, will be a pop-heavy set of her biggest hits; the second, Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano, will have fewer dates and feature stripped-down takes on her catalog as well as selections from the Great American Songbook. (It's probably safe to assume there'll be some Cheek to Cheek cuts in there too.) Tickets go on sale Aug. 13, with various pre-sales taking place in the days prior. READ MORE Lady Gaga's 32 Best Live Performances for Her 32nd Birthday: Critic's Picks After canceling the remainder of her European leg of the Joanne World Tour due to health concerns this past winter, Gaga's debut on the Vegas stage will mark her first shows in almost a year. Here are the signature hits and fan-favorite deep cuts we hope she plays when Lady Gaga Enigma opens this December: Born This Way Gaga described the show on her residency website as “a celebration of all that is unique and different within us.” With that in mind, it would only make sense to rev up the crowd with arguably her biggest self-acceptance anthem. LoveGame A stand out hit on her debut album, The Fame, and one of her raunchiest songs to date, this song could serve as a reminder that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich Speaking of which: This money-hungry song deserves to be played not just in Gaga's show but also in casinos all over the city. A sold out crowd singing “we just like to party, like to pa-pa-party yeah” is basically a theme song for the Strip. Telephone / Do What U Want As two of her only collaborations that were also released as singles, these two party-starting hits offer the perfect opportunity for a headline-grabbing special guest. At the top of the list? Obviously Beyoncé, but it's likely that with her own tours and projects going on, she’ll be "kinda busy." Teeth If Gaga fans are traveling across the world to see Mother Monster, it’s fair to assume they’ll want to hear some tracks she hasn't performed live in a minute. "Teeth," from The Fame Monster, hasn't had a place in her setlists since her Monster Ball days. Just Dance The Hot 100 chart-topper -- Gaga’s debut single -- is obviously a must. The 2008 classic will have everyone screaming RedOne's name, bringing attendees back to the thrill of her early days. Joanne / Million Reasons Time for an acoustic portion! Gaga’s latest album Joanne may have been a shift away from the electro-pop she was known for, but the deeply personal cuts still deserve to get some love in a retrospective show like this. Perfect Illusion The piercing electro-rock track -- not to mention its diva-worthy key change -- is a true adrenaline rush, and it's also one way to pick up the energy after a more mellow segment of the show. The Cure Gaga’s most recent single, which she debuted at her 2017 Coachella Performance, marked her return to a mainstream pop sound after Joanne -- but it never got an official video. Perhaps Gaga could make it up to fans by squeezing the song into her setlist. Applause / Venus / G.U.Y. Justice for ARTPOP! Gaga's underappreciated third studio album is adored by hardcore fans and features some of Gaga’s strongest and most unique pop bangers. One way to give the record its due? Mix the best tracks together into a medley -- not unlike what she did with the "G.U.Y." video. Hair The RedOne-assisted track off Born This Way should have been a single but never got its chance to shine commercially. Like "Born This Way," it's another track about embracing who you are. And like "Teeth," it's another deep cut that that could make a trip worth it for traveling fans. Poker Face Another must-have. Not only is it one of Gaga's signature tunes -- mum-mum-mum-mah! -- it's also one of the best pop songs of the 21st century, period. Your Song (Elton John Cover) This Elton John classic has followed Gaga throughout her career. The two performed the song at the 2010 Grammy Awards, and Gaga released an official cover of the song earlier this year. In addition to being another treat for her devotees, its inclusion would also be appropriate considering John has had two Vegas residencies of his own. Yoü And I If Gaga's going to be looking back at her career so far with this setlist, why not look back at some alter egos too --- specifically, Jo Calderone, who starred in the video for this Born This Way country-pop ballad. We think he'd love a Vegas adventure. Edge of Glory The song was only briefly teased during her Super Bowl performance, which was America's loss: Gaga's most anthemic song is a universal, feel-good sing-along, and the five-minute epic contains one of the diva's more memorable vocal performances to date. It's hard to think of a more triumphant way to close out the main set. ENCORE Bad Romance One of Gaga’s biggest hits -- and the song that gave us her best music video -- already served as a fitting grand finale during her 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show. Why not put it near the end again? Marry The Night Ending the show with the head-banging “Marry The Night” would be the perfect way to cap off the night as fans exit the venue and flood the Vegas streets. https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/8469104/lady-gaga-vegas-residency-enigma-setlist-fantasy

shoful 13,304
As long as she plays a couple ARTPOP songs I’ll be satisfied. Also i need Judas. The fact that I’ve been to the ArtRAVE and JWT and haven’t heard that masterpiece is a sin "My name is Dita, I'll be your Mistress tonight..."
