I think that she belts a little bit too much for this kind of music, which is usually sung in a more, idk, relaxed and calm way. But it's a great performance of course, and maybe her best LVER. Her best vocal performance for me was The Sound of Music tribute, and after that the Super Bowl.

Never saw it before and it's really great. I'm french  and her pronunciation is great (although sometimes I got no idea what she says lol but still big respect to sing a whole song in french)

There are better LVER performances, if I recall well.

Yes, VERY good. But no, IMO, not her best. Just of her La Vie En Rose performances, I find these two to be superior vocally. The first for her great breath support and relaxed throat. The second for her rolling vibrato (that moreso matches Edith's than usual).

I'm sure the one she performed at Tony's B-day celebration was lovely, too, however, it's hard to judge by just listening to the ending.

Man, did you listen to the genuine vintage Edith Piaf original of this song ?

What a belter she was... And a short one too... ;)  (4 foot 8 !)

Gaga's hommage is so touching  :flutter:

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

to me, its the only song she overdoes each time, so much belting and loud singing for such a delicate song

Depending on my mood, her overpowering belts are either too much and overexerting, or perfectly dramatic and comical.

3 points in and ready for more
