This is as far away from the Million Reasons video as you can get. I can see why people think it's outdated and stuff, but overall I think it's a new and exciting aesthetic, especially after Joanne (which I love, but this is a nice refresher).

Also, she definitely isn't attached to her old image. She's said herself that every time she's in a new era, fans have to remember to shed away the past (not necessarily forgetting it, but just stop comparing it). If anything, the fans are too attached to her old image.

I think you understood i meant in execution level.

I like the concept but the editing nor tge design is good enough.

And i dont agree about the other point. Ever since ARTPOP she continuously recycles looks and ideas from her past eras. She has come up with new ideas but when its time to make sure the public recognizes her she pulls something unmistakingly gaga.

But thats how i take it.

But if you dont agree explain please how tudor campaign isnt a throwback of old days. When its to present her as gaga the team comes back to her old image.

I just think this poster is a bit vague. And that usually comes with this kind of name like enigma. You think of big, mysterious, surreal and its very easy to fall in the trap. Cause many artists represent this ideas this way.

Joanne worls tour poster was great. Was different, makes me create a story about it. This one could be any poster made for some dark festival. Even if you put some tags to search for enigma dark whatnot youll get probably that kind colour. Thats it.

And that's the part I don't necessarily get. The font, yeah, isn't the best, but the photo itself looks great. Like, what about the execution makes it look bad to you? Is it the composition, lighting, costume, etc.?

On the other point though, I still stand by the fact that she is not attached to her old image. She literally explicitly expressed that she wants fans to shed away the past eras and embrace the new. There are hints of "Old Gaga" throughout the Joanne era, but that was just it: hints. The Super Bowl, Grammys, even the small campaign for the Tudor watch company were all just hints of "Gaga." Joanne was at the center of that era though. You can't tell me the pink hat, ponytail-with-the-crop-top-and-jean-shorts, and overall "stripped" down appearance was her throwing it back to her "old self."

When you compare this to the JWT poster, I don't really see how you can "create a story" with that. That's not to say that the poster wasn't great, because it was, but I just don't see "the story" that you seem to be seeing.

At this point I'm pretty sure LG6 will drop somewhere in 2019, most likely in Q2 so she can promote it fully.

What about C3C?

I've been thinking the same thing and I'd prefer it that way to be honest. There's already so much happening this year with ASIB and this Enigma show. She's going to have to spend time preparing for that.

Just because she's been seen at the studio recently doesn't mean it's going to be released soon like everyone thinks, and I'd prefer it if it was an album she took more time to work on before releasing anyway. Because it's more likely to be a much better quality than if it was rushed due to a deadline.

They could have been in the studio reworking the songs for Enigma :cryga:

That would be cool if it turns out to be true. But obviously I'd be like where the hell is LG6. :noparty:

Guys, that picture isn't horrible, nor yells "dated", "lazy", "boring", "recycled" as you say. It's basically a poster from the 80s, especially the font, the shimmering light leaks and the colorful easthetic. I'd love it as an album cover

Its mostly composition. If they really went big and made her seem gigantic with a shot from above or something.

But its a pic in the center with lots of black space. And the letters dont even make you understand those flashes of light. That also needed some exaggeration.

Its just theres no fulcral point and it lacks movement.

If the lights would be more dramatic you could think theyre confunsing or deceiving. Also that white light in the enigma isnt made interesting as well.

And some words could perfctly in the background.

You dont need to invent the wheel but go all out if its an expected concept.

I don't necessarily know if getting a shot from above would make it look better. In fact, it'd probably make it look more confusing.

I do sort of agree about the horizontal lights though. In some areas (like the bottom fo "Lady Gaga" and the top of "Live in Vegas") it does look a little messy. However, I think the blank space is necessary. The photo is already so colorful and cluttered (not in a bad way) that it needs time to breathe. Having all that blank space is good in my opinion. Could they have done a less dramatic background? Possibly, but this works well.

As for the focal point, I'd say that her orange lips provide a good focal point. It's in the center of the photo, and blue and orange are complementary colors. Plus green and blue are both cool colors, so it's nice to have a 'pop' of a warm color to break things up a bit.

I also think the white in "Engima" works well. Once again, like the lips, it's placed well and it also provides a more mystical or psychedelic vibe. Sort of like an ode to a "third eye" ordeal.

There are aspects that I might have changed. For example, the left hand (her right) blends into her hair a little too well. I probably would have extended or lowered that hand a little bit. Regardless, I think it's a great photo, and it definitely gets me hyped for her residency (and possibly LG6!).
