Both tbh. When she's old and playing festivals like the old rock star she's going to be, she'll open her shows with Poker Face and end them with Bad Romance and all the young people who don't know who she is will know these two songs only in the set and make them go OH OK THAT'S WHO SHE IS, LADY GAGA IS THE RAH RAH PO PO PO BITCH. That's what I think will happen.

I'm just glad I liked her a lot since Just Dance and got to follow her from the beginning of her Fame Career

I wasn't a hardcore can until Paparazzi became a hit (my fav song of all time) but I liked her enough since her first hit that I followed her before paparazzi

Oh true. I think I was thinking of Canadian and US charts but WW numbers do matter more since it captures the full market. Fair enough

I know in Canada Poker Face was #1 for 8 weeks and in the US it was #1 for 6 weeks

But in both Nations I gotta feeling turned out to be the chart topper of the year if I remember correctly

Funny I loved the black eyed peas but always found I gotta feeling one of their most overrated hits

I hate correcting people, lol but Poker Face was only #1 in the US for a week, which is stupid and was blocked by Boom Boom Pow lol..:saladga:....

Ohhhhhhhh sorry I'm getting numbers mixed up...

Poker Face was Gaga's longest #1 hit in Canada which was 8 weeks. Born This Was was Gaga's longest #1 hit in US for 6 weeks

I therefore confused born this way weeks at #1 with Poker Faces weeks at #1 my bad

I'll edit that thanks

So starry eyed on the flowery hillside, breathless and fervid amid the dandelions.

Poker face was her best selling song in America actually if I'm not mistaken

How many weeks a song stays at its peak or #1 doesn't always tell you how big a hit it was because several variables can affect that such as how fast it peaked vs longevity (was its success concentrated in short period of time or spread out longer), also what other huge songs did it compete with that might of blocked it

Bad Romance was the 9th biggest hit of 2010 but it never hit #1 in the US because the biggest hit of the year Tik Tok blocked it. Other songs that weren't as huge was bad romance did go #1

I meant worldwide, Poker Face smashed all the charts ww and became the #1 best selling and charting single of 2009 calculated by an organization I guess. Poker Face charted in the top 7 in all the countries it charted in (blame South Korea for its #7 lol). Also, I Gotta Feelings success was cut between 2009 and 2010, since Poker Face already sold 9.5 million copies at the end of 2009 and I Gotta Feeling was released at the end of the year.

I Gotta Feeling was released June 23, 2009. No where close to the end of the year:laughga:
