While I agree that collusion by itself is indeed not a crime, condemning Hillary for the same act is completely unnecessary. Blame Hillary for the countless other horrible things she has done... not this.

It's uncomfortable living in this country ever since he won the election... Which was forever ago (2 years). I am unsure why he continues to bring up Hillary Clinton's name. I think he's destroying the integrity of his position through using twitter & talking about such mundane, petty sh*t. And I have actual anxieties surrounding his fascist/autocratic qualities.

Collusion is an umbrella term though. Conspiracy to commit a crime and aiding and abetting in a crime are illegal. That's generally called "collusion" even if it isn't what the legal documents say.

If Trump knew the Russians where illegally hacking the DNC and he supported that it would be a crime. His lawyer has been on Fox News ****ing things up spectacularly by revealing there was not just a meeting between Trump Jr and Manafort at Trump Towers (which they claim Donald Trump didn't know about) but there was a second meeting that the public didn't know about (until his lawyer revealed it on Fox).

Apparently there are claims not yet public that Trump reportedly did know about and did attend the second meeting (although his lawyer is also saying he likely didn't know and didn't attend...) If he knew about or attended any of those meetings and conspired with the Russians to hack the DNC (there is also footage of Trump publicly asking the Russians to release hacked information... So it seems likely ) then he is guilty of conspiracy to commit a crime and aiding and abetting in a crime. That's collusion, that's illegal.


I just think it's important to note that the allegations of what Trump is involved with include ILLEGAL behaviour and the subtle switch in the past couple of days that Trump and his lawyer Giuliani have shown from "There is no collusion!" to "There is no collusion, BUT if there was so what? It's not a crime" is a telling one imo.

Sounds like they know collusion happened, they are worried it might come out, and they are adding another line of defence for if/when it does.

It's ****ing shorthand, he committed a crime  The distance between collusion and conspiring is also very very short. If there's even a hint that Trump alleged that he would make any specific changes to national policy that would favor Russia...  its tantamount to treason  And considering how our national policy has radically changed in just a year in a nonpartisan way... how he continually compliments Putin - that FIASCO where he bent over backwards to compliment him and Russia just a few weeks ago... him saying that Russia should be let back in after their violent, unlawful annexation of Crimea  It's just so freaking obvious. If conservatives werent so obsessed with maintaining power at any means, it would be the easiest impeachment in the history of this country
