Also, by saying there is "no graceful way to age", you are saying that you have no standards lol. To call them out by your standard would be ageist - which is sad. 

Interesting point. I agree but I think that Madge has never followed that role model of mature respected artist you talk about. Her career has been built upon breaking the rules and scandalising the public. She has been either deeply hated or deeply admired throughout all her career. I think that Madonna is a really intelligent woman and she's aware of the perception her current attitude gives of herself. But that's just what Madonna has always been: a rebel. She refuses to obey society's standards of 'graceful ageing'. I totally understand if you have that perception of her but I admire her because she just does whatever she wants. The only thing I think she has to get under control is her huge ego, because it really makes her look immature. I wouldn't say she lacks humility since she's currently building health centres in Malawi but I agree she just gives away an arrogant image.
