ModernEcstasy 8,996
I would say I’d delete her injury. However, we don’t know what that injury had inspired in her work. So maybe it was fate?
Breakdown 444
Troy Carter. I know that her biggest era was with him, but... He wasn't a good manager. If he was, he wouldn't have overworked Gaga, he wouldn't have made her feel completely useless. Maybe with another person, she wouldn't have reached her biggest era, but I'm pretty sure a REAL PROFESSIONAL wouldn't have risked her health and not only she suffered the consequences of being overexposed to media, but also she has to deal with chronic pain for the rest of her life. And, as someone stated before, it is no related to Gaga's career (voluntary decisions), but I would also erased her rapist from her life. So starry eyed on the flowery hillside, breathless and fervid amid the dandelions.

Gaga puts her artistry above commercial considerations, which may be rare in the industry. Fans often look towards awards, sales, and charts, probably because they want Gaga to feel happy with the reception her music receives. I value Gaga's happiness greatly, but I think she is happiest when she is able to release something she believes to be the best she can do creatively. I think she looks at her professional life through a different lens than many artists and many fans do. I live outside the space time continuum. Mr S 8,672
As much as I'd like to chose "ARTPOP" or "fibro", I think I'm gonna have to go with SMOKING ARTPOP had a huge effect and caused an enormous decline that she is still recovering from, while the fibro will make it hard to tour or dance. But none of that matters if she continues smoking. Her voice will continue to deepen and that makes her music less appealing to the GP. It won't matter if she can dance on tour if her lungs are ruined. She will have a hard time holding notes, singing while dancing, hitting high notes, etc. She will age terribly. Look at Justin Timberlake. How can Adam Levine look so much hotter despite being the same age.

LochNessMonster 44
All the horrible things that have happened to her have clearly made her the woman she is today. It's made her a fighter and helped her reached the top of her game. Saying that, it's difficult to watch her struggle with her fibromyalgia and the significant impact it's having on her life. I wonder what Gaga would say if she was asked this question? I have a feeling she would think similarly "Let the blood and bruises define your legacy"

I want to think that Gaga is a true artist who care more about her music than sales I like to think of Gaga as an indie soul in an industry body. She wants to control everything herself and make all the decisions, but it would take a huge amount of time and work to run her own indie label, so she goes along with the restrictions of working with an established label. This gives her more time for her creative work, but it's a trade-off. The industry is all about profit, and Gaga is all about art, so there will always be a fine line she needs to walk and probably a lot of frustration. I live outside the space time continuum. I was at the concert in Philadelphia just before she was hospitalized with fibro. She mentioned in that concert that she was living with chronic pain. So sad. The thought of Gaga in pain breaks my heart because she deserves so much happiness. So I guess I would go with "fibro, broken hip, and smoking". I live outside the space time continuum.
