Elizabeth Banks will direct, with Jay Basu and Banks writing the most recent draft of the script. Banks will also star in the film as Bosley. The remake is set sometime after the original movies, and will focus on the next generation of Angels working for the mysterious Charlie. The Townsend Agency has now gone global with highly-trained teams worldwide, providing security and intelligence services to a wide variety of private clients.
