Is Gaga's team too calculated?

While other artists release music (solo + collabs) on a regular basis, Gaga is constantly working on new music that's often super trendy and ready for releasing, but it just never happens (except The Cure last year).

I also remember RedOne talking about this, he wasn't rude or anything, but he did say something about Gaga being pretty reserved when it comes to features and never being the right time for releasing them (overlapping with her own album cycles, too close to last release, different from her current music path etc.)

Also, we know Gaga wanted to release new music more than a year ago, she was just "figuring out the right way". Wtf happened? RedOne mentioned Frankensteined a few days ago. Why didn't they release it for Halloween as it was rumored? 

It makes me sad that she might've written hundreds of hits that will never see the light of day because she or her team thought it wasn't the right time for some reason, be it another main pop artist release, or fear of it flopping before AHS, ASIB, whatever, or what if people that just became fans with C2C won't like it etc.

I'm 99% sure BloodPop is just waiting for her permission to release their collab, but again for some reason she or her team don't want it out yet. And who knows, maybe it will be left aside for too long again, stop being fresh and trendy and stay unreleased forever. Yay

Why can't she just go with the flow, release the music that she feels at the moment and stop caring about the best schedule for her business

Well, your rant point to the opposite. They are not calculated at all  They should work on her streaming and make her be featured on ~2 tracks between eras so she can still stay relevant on streaming services/radio without having to do anything.

However, that "BloodPop collab" thing needs to end. As time went by, I think that by "your collab with Gaga" he meant his involvement on LG6 [when he liked that tweet].

well all artists have plenty of unreleased things for plenty of reasons, gaga is no different but i think she only releases stuff she thinks deserves to be released

i know she asked fans about a Joanne Side B but maybe upon relfection she realised that she'd rather not release it because it wasn't polished enough? or the content that would have been on it (most likely revamped demos) she didn't want people to hear cus she decided over time the songs weren't actually that good and are better off left unreleased?

plus she already gives us a lot of content beyond music so there's a chance they don't want to "flood" the system. you also have to remember she's been working non-stop for 10 long and hard years, suffering a hip injury that lead to chronic physical pain and a lot of emotional scars so her changing her mind and not wanting to release a Side B might simply be because she wanted to just take it easy after the tour instead of re-igniting the flames with more new music

If anything else he exposed how her label is severe with her and how most this material that wont see light of day is theyre responsability.

Gagas team is a mess. Its not calculated at all. Its all done on the spot and sorry but it has always been.

Though that has a bit of stefani in there.

Even if that's true and we all misunderstood his tweet, why not make it happen? They're literally working on tens of songs together, why not release one? A summer hit wouldn't kill her

I agree somewhat. We know she writes music all the time, I think it would actually benefit her creative process to put out her work soon after it's created, instead of waiting 1-2 years. In that wait time she can get bored with it. I feel like it would be more exciting for HER as an artist.

It's not up to her or her team. IT'S THE LABEL. 

Of course, Gaga also has a word in it, but remember she is not trying to become a sensation, she already is one. She wants something bigger than that.

That's what I mean. She's one of the hardest working artists out there, but when you take a look at her discography (10 years) she released cca 70 songs. 

Just for comparison, Nicki Minaj has 76 Hot 100 tracks only, and I don't feel like counting how many she's released in total. (these two can't really be compared, but we can talk about release frequencies)

Gagas team has devovled into amateurs. Say what you want about Troy's lot but at least they got **** done ☠ Id love Troy back but without the lets kill her for money part. A compromise would be amazing

Imagine if she had released ARTPOP in 2012, during the Fame perfume launch. She was feeling ARTPOP back then. It wouldn't be the same ARTPOP that we got but still.

Imagine if she had released a few of the Red One songs in 2015, and then still released Joanne in 2016. I mean why not? 

I think she feels locked into the "studio album > world tour > repeat" cycle. She doesn't have to tour with every album. I actually think she shouldn't considering her health. Idk I'm rambling.
