This is a tough one, seriously. Just Dance was her first number #1, (first single too :firega:), but Born This Way is the biggest LGBT Anthem and also achieved #1, in more countries. However, Born This Way's longevity is so low that its highest weeks spent in a chart is 34 weeks in the UK. Just Dance also sold more worldwide with 10+ million more copies and Born This Way about 8.5+ million copies. Just Dance has more streams with 146,093,571 and Born This Way currently has 121,141,760. Just Dance was nominated for a Grammy while Born This Way WASN'T:saladga:. Just Dance has more views on YT than Born This Way. But, Just Dance missed the Top 10 in 5 countries, while Born This Way made the Top 10 in every "official country chart" it charted in. Idk about this one.

Actually it's pretty obvious.

BTW is known to the public for all the wrong reasons (Madonna plagiarism/deemed officially as a gay artist) and doomed her in terms of GP (amazon mess/overexposure/weird aesthetics)

Just Dance paved the way for 3 years of global smash hits and brough pop back from the dead.

Both are two of the most iconic songs in her discography and will be performed for decades to come.

Also Born This Way wasn't nominated at the Grammys because she didn't submit them, I believe she submitted You and I and Judas instead and the former was chosen.

Wow is that what you think Born This Way achieved?

I thought she would've submitted BTW & TEOG for a Grammy, the 2 most successful singles off BTW, like Judas is my fave, but why submit that and not BTW and TEOG.

Maybe because Judas and You and I were both better in terms of production. Like in The Edge of Glory, it seems like Gaga recorded the pre-chorus vocals separately and put them on top of each other (I dk if you get what I mean) instead of recording them in one flow. In Born This Way, the instrumental is so fcking loud and it seems like there are 100 instruments being played on top of each other I dk if the Grammy committee would award that.

Anyway, You and I did get a Grammy nomination, so it worked out, didn't it?

Not so funny fact:

A friend of mine threw a party and spinned BTW. 4 of the people booed saying "Come on man! We are no ... the *F* word." When he insisted it was a cool song no matter the lyrics, they said they used to like Gaga until this song.

Contrast:

I lived to see the rise of Gaga back in 2008 and Just Dance was the song that whenever started playing in the clubs everyone went crazy and went asking the DJ who the artist was.

Since you kindly noted... No. Fact is i enjoy both songs and i guess even more BTW. It's not what I think of BTW. It's what str8s/GP think of it in countries that are not so liberal in terms of sexuality freedom like mine

I Wantth your Love...I Wantth your Love.

My Enigma Heart

I personally think Just Dance was more successful. At least in my country it is. It shot her to superstardom and started her career overall. I think that the question should be "Poker Face vs. Born This Way?"

Wet Fire

Considering charts, sales, popularity, it is Just Dance. But Born This Way has a cult following, many many people including me view it as an queer anthem. To me, that is a bigger success.
