This is terrifying and not only for the people involved but it may trigger some kind of mental illness on everybody around it like anxiety and panic... It saddens me that it's becoming more and more common.

It's you.

It's just that people get used to this kind of tragic actions nowadays.

It's an honor.

I know these things happen everywhere, but I've always thought that Canada is one of the safest place on Earth. This is sad and tragic.

Yeah it’s sad but when I saw the title I honestly thought it was old news, but I decided to check it out once I thought about it longer

Mass shootings in Canada are quite rare compared to the US (where this sort of thing happens almost every day) so this is shocking. It seems like the crime rate in Toronto is slowly going up :ohno:

This is a great article that explains mass shootings aren’t necessarily more frequent (based on US population) but more deadly.

This is even worse. :ohno:

Deadlier is sad (of course) but the over-sensationalized “we are in the worst spot in history” needs to be rationalized. Mass shootings are not new, terrorism is not new, etc. We need gun control but we don’t need to incite anxiety and fear into people.
